Jay Silva to make KSW return against Michal Kita at KSW 61.
Silva is looking to come back from an extended layoff and a loss. His last fight, a split decision loss to Michael Quintero at LXF, was back in 2019. Silva did not fight the entirety of 2020, likely due to COVID-19 shutting down many MMA promotions around the world. Silva last fought in the UFC in 2010 when he lost to Chris Leben via decision.
Silva has appeared many times over the years for the Polish promotion, KSW, with his last appearance being a majority decision loss to Mariusz Pudzianowski in 2017. He looks to get back to winning ways with a victory over the talented Kita.
Kita last fought Philip De Fries at KSW 57 in December 2020 where he lost via a TKO in the second round. Prior to that he was on a a two-fight win streak with wins over Igor Pokrajac and Michal Andryszak.
US fans can watch live on www.KSWTV.com. The card is headlined by five-time worlds strongest man Mariusz Pudzianowski who faces KSW legend Lukasz Jurkowski in the main event.
